This is a cinematic recap of your wedding. Depending on the package you select, this 3 to 7-minute video is a professionally edited highlight film that utilizes your recorded vows and speeches to craft a compelling narrative – allowing you and other viewers to revisit the magic of your wedding. We can combine all of the footage my team captured into one longer video that tells the story from beginning to end. While the Highlight Film will be more cinematic, this will simply be a retelling of the wedding itself – shot by shot – with the ceremony, speeches, and dances. If you plan on having kids, think of this as a “generational heirloom” that you can share with your kids and grandkids, showing them their parents’ wedding day. [sample]

Booked a few months before your wedding, this session is your opportunity to celebrate this special phase of your life at a meaningful location.

Every wedding is different. Ask yourself these questions:

• Are you doing a first look? If so, you will have more time for photos before the ceremony with each other, your bridal party, family, and son on. If not, we’ll get all of those essential group photos and your “romantic” portraits immediately after your ceremony during Cocktail Hour.
• Do you want “getting ready” or “detail” shots? If so, you’ll want us to arrive an hour or 2 before the ceremony so we have enough time to get your special items for “flat lay” detail photos, dress photos, and some of you with your bridesmaids / groomsmen before the ceremony.
• Are your ceremony and reception in different locations? If so, take into consideration the extra time required for everyone to travel from point A to point B – so you may want more time with your photo/video team.
• After your traditional moments during the reception are over (such as your dances, bouquet & garter tosses, and cake cutting), do you need photos/videos of everyone dancing and having a great time as the night goes on? If not, we can leave a few minutes after the dance floor opens up.

Depending on your timeline, six hours of coverage may start right before the ceremony begins while 8 hours of coverage may start when you are finishing up getting ready all the way until the dance floor opens up toward the end of your reception. The more hours you have us, the less rushed you will feel when getting all of those essential photos and can focus more on experiencing your day. Those two hours can make a huge difference. But always check with your coordinator/planner/venue when developing your full timeline.

Need me more than 8 hours? Additional hours may be available upon request. If additional hours are requested on the day of the wedding, we will send you an invoice the following day. It’s not uncommon for couples to add an additional 1 to 2 hours.

It’s my goal to document your true and authentic love story in the moment. Much of this will simply be documenting the day as is, but you can also have an element of control if you plan correctly. We’ll work together to determine exactly what you’re looking for with your photos/videos – so feel free to send me examples you might find online so I have a better idea of your vision.

Your photo gallery will be delivered within 4-6 weeks after your wedding. The Cinematic Highlight Video (and Documentary Cut) will be delivered within 6-8 weeks after your wedding via a downloadable HD video file(s). Peak seasons may affect this turnaround time.
